Ms. Bulow is a versatile talent—a strong actress and singer. Also a natural songwriter, Annie has co-written dozens of original songs. She was in a Rock/Indie acoustic duo that opened for Marcus Eaton, and sang on multiple occasions with popular Boise jazz ensemble, the Frim Fram 4. Annie danced nearly 5 years with Balance Modern Dance Company, and had the honor of singing to the Dalai Lama, during his Idaho Children’s address in Sun Valley. She was one of five Youth Emcees who hosted the high energy Dalai Lama event for over 10,000 people!
Annie portrayed Lorane in a lead role for the feature film entitled ‘Almosting It’; starring Lee Majors and produced by von Tagen International. Additional independent feature film experience includes the roles of Maggie in ‘Mainspring’, Julie in ‘All Night’, and Sara in ‘Autumn Angel’. Recent commercial work includes Seattle Transit, Better Business Bureau, Micron, My Idaho Courses, and Primary Health. Annie has also been a featured actress in numerous short films and professional music videos.
Annie made her main stage debut in 2014 at Boise Contemporary Theater, as Vanda in the production of ‘Venus in Fur’ — a Tony Award winning show in which she received critical acclaim. Past roles include: Meg Magrath in ‘Crimes of the Heart’, Abigail Williams in ‘The Crucible’, Emily Webb in ‘Our Town’, Dorothy Gale in ‘Wizard of OZ’, and BSU’s production of ‘All in the Timing’. Annie toured with the Idaho Shakespeare Festival as Hero in the production of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’, and teaches youth classes for the ISF youth program.
Annie received her B.A. in Theater Arts at Boise State University, and graduated magna cum laude. She also graduated from the one-year Acting Conservatory at the Michael Howard Studios in New York City, and she has attended select workshops with top NYC casting professionals. Her training includes working with great vocal coaches such as: Roger Love in Los Angeles, along with Steve Silverstein and Bob Marks in New York.
Currently, Annie is an actor/singer with the dynamic and versatile creative team that comprises the True Story project. Annie has achieved her eligibility for Actors’ Equity and SAG, and she hopes to focus on professional theater/film, television and commercial opportunities.
